The ARM Inventory Management module lets you manage every aspect of your inventory, ensuring you have the tools available to create new or improved purchasing policies, rental and sales policies, warehousing program, and pricing methods. Building on the a comprehensive set of features available within the Sage MAS 90 or MAS 200 Inventory Management module, ARM incorporates features uniquely oriented to the rental industry, creating a solution granting your company the competitive edge.

Inventory Maintenance
The Inventory Maintenance function is the storehouse for all item data. Quickly switch your view from rental-specific data to sales and general data such as the product line, valuation method, etc. A convenient tab system lets you move quickly to locate the data in which you are most interested.
Graphic Reservation Inquiry
An easy to read graphic reservations inquiry screen shows instantly the quantity of an item: on rent, to be returned and available for any selected week. Click on the displayed calendar to scroll the screen to the time frame of interest. Drill down from this window to view a list of the open contracts referencing the item. Drill down further to view each individual contract.
Serialized Inventory
Both lot and serial-numbered items are supported providing the ability to track individual pieces of equipment or collections. You can easily inquire into the status (available, on repair, on rent) of each individual item.
Sales And Rental Commissions
You may establish separate commission structures for an item based on whether it is to be sold or rented.
Separate Rental Unit Of Measure
Maintain a separate rental unit of measure for each item, thereby providing each item with a Standard, Sales, Purchase, and Rental Unit of Measure.
Alternate Items
Maintain up to eight alternate items to be listed for the operator during Contract Entry if the original item is out of stock.
Sales And Rental History
Detailed sales and rental history is preserved by item and by customer and includes quantity and dollars both rented and sold.
Accessory Items
Accessory Items may be associated with an inventory item. Accessory Items are especially useful for “suggestive” selling/renting. For instance, when you rent a floor sander, you want the system to suggest that the customer purchase sand paper, a sanding pad, and rent an extra heavy duty extension cord. These three items would be set up as accessories to the floor sander.
Item Image
Store a graphic image of each item in the item file.
Contract Inquiry
A convenient Contract Inquiry screen lets you view all open contracts referencing the item. Toggle between sale and rental contracts to provide a full view of current item activity. Drill down from this location to view full details of each contract.
Extended Item Descriptions
Item descriptions can contain up to 99 lines of 50 characters each.
Real Time Operations
Inventory and Contract Entry operate on a real time basis. The quantity available is dynamically calculated using the on hand quantity less the quantity on rental order. ARM is a truly multi-user, multi location system,
Kitting
Kits can represent groups of items priced and sold/rented together. Sales Kits can be entered during Contract Entry to explode the component items automatically.
Rental Rates By Warehouse
If you operate from multiple locations, perhaps in different cities, you can establish rental and sale pricing structures specific to each location.
Inventory Inquiry
Item information such as warehouse location, price and cost can be quickly accessed for inquiry only.
Multiple Warehouses
The Inventory Management module supports multiple warehouses, thousands of them. Maintain a separate group of warehouses for each location, e.g. rental warehouse, sales warehouse, repair warehouse, etc. Items can easily be transferred from one location to another maintaining a complete audit trail.
Rental and Sale Pricing
Maintain separate rental and sale pricing structures. A handy copy feature lets you quickly establish a new item’s pricing structure by copying from an existing item.
